Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Suspension of terms pending before the European Patent Office (EPO)
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the EPO decided that all time limits expiring on or after 15 March 2020 are postponed to 2 June 2020. This new date can be further postponed as a result of the evolution of the epidemiological situation. Nevertheless, PCA remains active and we believe to take advantage of this only where strictly necessary.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the EUIPO decided that all time limits expiring from 9 March 2020 are extended to 18 May 2020. Nevertheless, PCA remains active and we believe to take advantage of this only where strictly necessary.
Historic Trademark
The directorial decree of 27 February 2020 was recently published in the Official Gazette. It contains the implementing regulations for the registration in the special register of historic trademarks of national interest.
