PCA implemented a series of privacy protection procedures which were added to its special security planning program. A copy of said procedures is available upon request.

As members of the Association of Intellectual Property Consultants, PCA’s agents are required to comply with:

i) Article 206 of the Industrial Property Code, which provides for the professional secrecy obligation, referring to Article 200 of the code of criminal procedure;

ii) the code of ethics (available at the web address http://www.ordine-brevetti.it/page/codice-deontologico), which provides as follows: without prejudice to the regulation governing the professional secrecy obligation referred to in Article 206 of the Industrial Property Code, the Consultant is required to keep strictly confidential any information and document received during the performance of his/her professional assignment, the opinions and suggestions given, as well as the exchange of communications with the customer or with the government offices and with other Consultants involved in the procedure, except for what is already of public domain.
