From October 2026, the large family of countries eligible for the International Trademark (Madrid Protocol) will also include Saudi Arabia. However, it should be remembered that currently, trademarks cannot be registered for pork food, alcoholic beverages, including beer (and services related to the sale of such products as well), or depicting graphic components identical or similar to the Christian cross (this circumstance is monitored by the local Religious Police).
