Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at University of Palermo in 1993, with a specialization in energy.

Professional Qualifications

Italian Patent Agent since 1998.
European Patent Attorney since 2001.
European Design Attorney since 2003.

European Patent Litigator.

Fields of activity

He has been working in the field of Intellectual Property and in PCA since 1996.

He professionally advises clients in various aspects of Intellectual Property Law with a particular focus on patents and designs, including drafting, filing and prosecuting patent and design applications in Italy and worldwide. He also deals with patent and design searches. In addition, he handles validity/infringement and patentability opinions. He also developed a strong experience in dealing with oppositions before the EPO and with litigations before the Italian Courts both as Technical Expert of one of the parties and as Technical Expert on the Judge request.

Other professional activities

Tutor in training courses on patent matters and in courses aimed to obtain the qualification of Italian Patent Agent and European Patent Attorney from 2003 to 2012.

Member of Collegio Italiano dei Consulenti in Proprietà Industriale (Italian College of Industrial Property Consultants) and FICPI since 2005.
