After a period of closure for reasons of public order, the local Intellectual Property Office reopens for the registration of trademarks only. It is mandatory to carry out novelty searches before the filing, after which the application will be examined on absolute and relative grounds and, if allowed, it will pass to publication for oppositions ( for 45 days). No “stand-alone” novelty searches are allowed (without the following filing).
