The local government informs that from 1st January 2023, Kenyan importers will have to record the brands that distinguish the imported products in a register kept by the Anti-Counterfeit Authority (“ACA”).
The ACA should review the documents and accept or deny the request within 30 days.
Of course, it is recommended to register in Kenya – before such “recordal” – all the brands that are intended to be used in the African country.
